The Pew Research foundation reports that 2/3rds of all Hispanics in the U.S. legally are not U.S. citizens. That is, those with legal permanent residence. There are many reasons why they don’t become citizens; mostly because they’re not proficient in English.
According to the data from the last election, roughly 27 million Hispanics are registered to vote, according to the Pew Research Center.
There are 50 million legal Hispanics in the country. Their median age is 27 years, which works out to roughly 30 million of whom are of voting age. Assuming only one third of these are U.S. citizens, that means about 10 million Hispanics are eligible to vote by virtue of being citizens.
The other 17 million Hispanics who registered to vote did so under false pretenses. If you assume only 70% of them actually voted, that works out to 12 million illegal votes. Over 80% of Hispanics voted for Obama, or 10 million.
Obama’s margin of victory was 3 million votes in the popular vote. His electoral college edge came from swing states with a large Hispanic population. I guess that explains why he’s so anxious to implement amnesty. That will retroactively solve this while issue.
