Officials in the state apparatus were called “civil servants.” This smacks of close party affiliation and less “office steward.”
In modern-day America, the bemtens have enormous power. Political appointees decide which laws to apply, on whom, where, to what extent, and by whom. The federal bureaucracy is structured so political appointees have absolute power not just over the enforcement of the law, but in the administration of all subordinates.
Sure, nameless Nazi functionaries scheduled the trains that brought Jews to the work camps, delivered material and fuel and food to the camps, and all the other details needed to run the equivalent of a large city. They were, however, unaware of what was really going on in the camps. Not so in America:
- Social Security workers know very well the identity of every single illegal immigrant who has stolen a Social Security number from a citizen and has used it to work under false pretenses
- The Border Patrol knows how easy it is for illegals to cross the border. They do it an average of 8 times before remaining here. By that point, they’re probably on a first name basis with law enforcement.
- Every employer in America secretly checks e-verify to check their worker’s immigration status (they check your credit history, your driving record, your Facebook page, eavesdrop on your email and web browsing history on the computer at work – and you think they don’t spend 30 seconds on the e-verify site to check you out?)
- City officials in 250 sanctuary cities and 4 sanctuary states know how many laws they violate every day by not verifying a person’s immigration status
Hollywood knows cocaine is like an aperitif for every actor, director, screenwriter, and producer.
It’s all so politically correct. Besides, who’s keeping records? Who’s even doing their job anymore? Certainly nobody in government.
