These were the “Nazified” Christians who were “de-Judaized.” They removed the Old Testament from their Bibles, nothing more.
The widespread perception of the Nazis is that they were violently anti-religion and almost as anti-Christian as they were anti-Semitic.
Removing the Old Testament is very much in tune with mainstream Christianity. You follow Southern Baptist teachings, for instance, and you’re taught at every Wednesday evening Bible study class that Jesus wrote the Old Testament, Jesus inspired the miracles and the prophets of the Old Testament, and Jesus infused every syllable and story with his manifest Godliness.
To protestant Christians, there is no Old Testament in the Bible anymore. The Old Testament is nothing more than fine print, subtext, pedantic lagniappe to the infinite greatness of Jesus and the New Testament.
