If you were ever in doubt that Obama is orchestrating these financial “crises” to his own nefarious ends, you have no need to go any further than Obama’s oft-stated diatribe about the conservatives putting “the full faith and credit of the United States at risk” over raising the debt ceiling (which we passed as of New Years Eve and will REALLY exceed as of February 15 when the Treasury Department’s accounting tricks run out of uumph.)

To quote the infamous advice by then White House chief of staff Rom Emmanuel, “Never let a crisis go to waste… because you can do things that would not otherwise be possible.”
This latest fiscal cliff “crisis” is a case in point. What started off as a bare bones extend the Bush tax cuts ended up as a monster bill that also extended a dozen other tax breaks, including sweetheart deals for NASCAR, Hollywood and many other special interest groups. Pork chops for everybody!
Obama contends that any failure to immediately raise the debt ceiling (he initially demanded unilateral authority to do so for the next four years) will destroy “the full faith and credit of the United States.” Apparently this means Obama will not instruct the Treasury Department to put the highest priority on the $40 billion check to our creditors, out of the $200 billion the government takes in every month.
Furthermore, Obama says this will “rattle stock markets around the world and drive every nation into another recession.” Actually, it’s the failure of our government to get our spending in balance with our income that will cause this calamity.
Obama loves to jack up the drama and hyper the hype.
Bring it on, homeboy.
