Objectivity was perceived as a negative attitude by the Nazis, smacking of liberalism and intellectualism. Objectivity, back then, implied unbiased appraisal. The Nazis wanted people to be oriented exclusively to the wellbeing of the German people.
Things are even more twisted now. Liberals control the media, have done so for decades; so their “objectivity” is highly prejudiced toward the liberal mentality.
In such an environment, with Obama and his far-left contingent firmly in control, all things are oriented – not toward what is best for the American people – but toward Obama’s people: blacks, Hispanics, Jews, gays and illegal immigrants.
Witness the enormous angst about the debt and budget issues in the last three years. We spend $1 trillion on welfare programs at the state and federal level, yet not one single solitary proposal has been put forth by either party to reduce welfare. Quite the contrary, actually. Obama, by Executive Order, removed the looking-for-work requirements for welfare recipients.
Instead, Washington has reduced the military budget drastically and even floated plans to eliminate Medicare (but, naturally, to keep expanding Medicaid).
They squabble over $20 billion in further military cuts, when ten times that much could be preventing illegal immigrants from food stamps (the Obama administration has a major outreach program to get illegals on food stamps), jobless benefits, Medicaid, Social Security Disability, and free cell phones.
