The Obama family runs up quite a tab every time they vacation out of town. The grand total for their Christmas and New Years vacations is $10 million, and that doesn’t include the cost of all the extra security by the Secret Service or the cost of operating the military cargo plane that follows Air Force One wherever it goes.
The math is simple enough to do on three fingers:
$10 million for a round trip of Air Force One from DC to Hawaii to DC
$10 million for an extra trip before New Years to sign the fiscal cliff bill
$10 million for to rent the exclusive resort where they stayed
How come they never vacation in Chicago? Obama loved to trumpet the windy city as his home down during the election cycle. All of Obama’s gangster buddies live in Chicago. He still owns a mansion there.
The President should have an expense account like everybody else in America. He should have a specific budget for travel, and if he exceeds that amount the Democrat Party should pony up the difference.
