We’re all accustomed to the premise that Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid will go belly up in ten or twenty years. They’ve been saying that for; well, ten or twenty years now. It’s the Chicken Little Syndrome.
If you say the sky is falling too many times nobody will believe you, even if the sky really is falling.
Not even the president is concerned about the “cry wolf” scenario. After all, Obama’s the one who joked about “bowling like it was the Special Olympics or something” on the Jay Leno show.
Our society has been Nazified. We’ve always marginalized the mentally ill. Hollywood loves crazy bad guys. It’s virtually impossible to have mentally unbalanced good guys. People just don’t relate.
The subtext of this whole gun “safety” debate is that we have to protect ourselves from all the crazies out there. We have to make it easy to institutionalize mentally ill people, to get them out of circulation for good.
We need a national registry of crazy people. We need to deny them any access to firearms. We need to tell all the criminals where these crazy, defenseless, undefended people live so they can rape and pillage them. The sooner we drive them into abject poverty, the sooner we can lock them up and throw away the key.
And so, nobody cares when the Social Security Trust Fund announces the Disability Fund will be out of money in three years. Disabled people don’t deserve to live anyway, much less live in poverty on a government benefit.
We’d much prefer the government keep spending $1 trillion a year on welfare. At least welfare moms keep having kids. Kids that grow up without fathers; kids who by definition become criminals with drug and alcohol and spousal abuse problems.
We love criminals. Some of our favorite movie and TV stars are criminals. It’s so MUCH fun when criminals pray on crazies.
We need criminals to pray on crazies. We need to perpetuate the $1 trillion welfare state. That’s the only way we can get crazies out of circulation.
The sooner we get the crazies out of circulation the sooner we can nix the Social Security Disability fund.
