These were vermin, parasites, or – in the modern world – slackers. They were people whom the Nazis felt damaged their national community; politically, socially, and ideologically. Typically they were Jews and Gypsies, two groups that had their own national identity and private agenda.
Would that we had the courage to bait the political slackers in America. People who don’t work, don’t follow the news, don’t understand any national issues or even try to – people who vote only to keep their welfare and government freebies coming.
Staunch Christians are the only ones who strive to raise their children to be “citizens” to the full extent of that term – informed on the issues, active in voicing their feelings to their representatives and media, knowledgeable voters all.
We’ve become a nation of “low information” voters who cast their votes based on half an hour of watching news and commentary on the eve of election day.
Parasites, vermin, slackers – call them what you will; they are the bane of freedom.
