A guest on the Gerri Willis Report on Fox Business News last week talked about Medicare fraud, which is on the order of $100 billion a year.
Or, in Washington speak, that’s $1 trillion over ten years.

Congress passed a law a while back mandating the IRS to tackle this problem. Their solution was a system just like the fraud alert system credit card companies use. They test every expenditure against your spending patterns and contact you if something out of the norm happens.
Obama claimed during the debates that he had reduced government fraud by $50 billion.
According to the official IRS statistics on this new fraud detection program, the government has detected $7000 in fraud to date. Or, in Washington speak, $70,000 over ten years.
Perhaps Obama was speaking proactively.
His opening proposal in the fiscal cliff talks was to save $40 billion in Medicare costs…. LOL
What a fraud.
