And politikaster “irresponsible politicians” know just how to punch those buttons. Call it grassroots activism, populism, rabble-rousing or taking down the house – if you have an itch, they will scratch it for you.
The Down Side
The problem is that 85% of the contributions you make to political campaigns go to create lavish “fund-raising” events for the people with the REAL money…

- Corporate CEOs
- Celebrities
- Hollywood elites
Then, to add insult to injury, the wealthy get to deduct their contributions. Thus, the net result of all this aktivisms is that the rich go to lots of lavish parties to schnook with their friends – all the champagne, cocaine and musical entertainment the brain can tolerate, all for brand spanking free.
Entertainment Galore
Then the clueless public shells out more money to facilitate these royals – for brand name clothing our fav celebrities endure, for glam society magazines, and so forth.
Bottom line? If you care about cancer, give your money to some reputable cancer organization. Politicians never do what they promise to do. And even if they do, it’s not because of your contribution or your volunteering or anything else you may do. That’s a fact, for sure.
