Utah, Illinois, Washington State and Hawaii already allow illegal immigrants to obtain driving permits. There’s been a 60% increase in licenses issued to residents since these laws were passed.
New Mexico’s new law gives illegal immigrants official driver’s licenses; not just driving permits like they do in Utah, but full blown official IDs. This storied was filed by Fox News.
The Republican governor of New Mexico, Susanna Martinez, said she supports the repeal of this law, but somehow with a Latina name like that I doubt she’s very serious.
This is what happens when Hispanics get a majority or even a majority minority stake in a state’s population. They don’t need citizenship to get full rights. All they need is a driver’s license. Then they can register to vote, serve on juries, and do everything regular citizens can do.
Arguably, they can move to another state and use their legal New Mexico license to get a new license, with all the bells and whistles. New Mexico is the new gateway into America for illegal immigrants.
Eat your heart out, Arizona.
