This was a favorite word of Nazi bureaucrats, meaning to execute, to bring to an end, to follow through, enforce, complete.
This notion would be anathema to any bureaucrat or functionary in any modern government organization – local, state, or federal – where efficiency is their very last priority.
Efficiency means less funding, fewer subordinates, more responsibility, more stress, shorter lunch breaks, less leisure time, more overtime, more sweat – more work! – less net pay per quantum of work accomplished.
Increasingly, bureaucratic malaise is a characteristic of every American corporation, too. Every new iPad or smartphone or Windows version has less and less that is really new. You buy the phone at the AT&T store, but all the problems issues have to be done by AT&T tech people over the phone, and they often refer you to the manufacturer of the device. Nobody is responsible for anything.
Phony advertising is so dependable in guaranteeing a continuous, endless customer flow, large companies could care less about customer satisfaction. Many companies have an exclusive, unique product – and act that way. They are able to make their loyal (brainwashed) clients pay more and more for less and less just because it’s way so cool to have one of their devices.
Nobody even likes hard work anymore. Tradesmen get paid by the hour – after you pay for their up-front, per-trip costs – so the longer the job takes, the more they get paid.
Everybody you hire has to charge you a little for their insurance/liability costs, their advertising, their retirement plan, their health care plan – their vehicle depreciation, licensing exams and fees, downtime, uptime, off time, injury time, taxes, fees, gas, and caffeine.
Professionals and tradesmen alike have rigged the system to maximize their pay while minimizing their effort to do the job.
We’ve become a nation of lazy, inefficient, unproductive, unhappy, unmotivated bureaucrats, in the worst possible sense of that word.
Enter the illegal immigrant: Simple, hard-working, honest, highly skilled workers in the trades.
Easy Money for Contractors
Good money for the illegal immigrants, too. They send all their wages back home to Mexico where they amount to an upper middle-class lifestyle.
Caramba! Jose can retire to the life of the luxury after just five years of this.
Builders and trade associations grease the skids in Washington to keep the illegals illegal, their wages low, and their work ethic extreme.
Slave Labor
Thanks to Obamacare, which incentivizes companies to have a maximum of 50 full-time employees, big business has found a tremendous new slave labor workforce: the part-time worker.
Part-timers give you a full day’s energy in 4-5 hours of work. They’re in constant fear of losing their jobs (no complacent career full-timers with overinflated pay and job security) – talk about maximizing productivity.
Make the Nazis proud.
