Sigmund Freud set forth four stages of psychosexual development.
- Oral
- Anal
- Phallic
- Genital
A typical human child grows from one to the other by age 10 or so, then matures through adolescence and early adulthood – and, to some extent, keeps developing until the very end.
Arrested Development
If a child gets stuck in potty training, at an early age when diapers are passé’ to all other children, you end up in adulthood with an anal personality.
There are two distinct psyches associated with anal personalities.
- Anal retentive
- Anal expressive
One holds emotions in; the other expresses emotions ad nauseum. It’s not hard to pigeon-hole a gay couple as Mr. Anal Retentive and Ms. Anal Expressive. That’s exactly how they behave – the chauvinist male and the overly sissified, effeminate female counterpart.
They are not role-playing, and they quite possibly cannot change who and what they are. That is not the real issue of homosexuality. The real question is if we should
- Accept it
- Facilitate it
- Celebrate it
Can you call homosexuality a “lifestyle choice” if the individual had no choice?

It doesn’t take a Sigmund Freud to see that our society, at the very least, facilitates homosexuality – at home, in the media, at school, and at play. We are collectively to blame for not rearing our children properly. Their homosexuality is a mute testament to our laziness, our sloth, our selfishness, and our incompetence as human beings.
All it takes is for there to be a father figure in the home, and kids turn out okay. If not the real father then an uncle, teacher, brother – anything works.
Our society doesn’t even have good virtual fathers on TV – in broadcasting, reality TV, or even in comic-book action shows.
Conclusion
If parents can’t raise their children properly, they should not have children in the first place.
If a society cannot cooperate enough to raise the next generation of citizen-parents, then it’s not a society at all. It’s a mob.
