Neither party is talking about the cost of amnesty to 11 million illegal immigrants. Even Fox News online pegged the cost at only $29 billion a year. A guest of Gerri Willis on Fox Business News last week estimated the cost at $200 billion a year.
Since Washington figures everything in ten year increments, that’s a $2 trillion program.
Statistics show that Hispanics average only a 9th grade education even after three generations in America. They’re by all accounts low wage workers in every industry they participate in.
Presently a third of all WORKING American families cannot pay for the basis necessities. It’s logical to assume that virtually all illegal immigrants fall in this category.
Once they’re citizens, these illegals will immediately qualify for welfare, Medicaid and foodstamps. Many will qualify for Social Security. They will also be eligible for Social Security Disability, which will already be bankrupt in 3 years without any new participants.
Do the math yourself… The average in total federal benefits to a poor person (working or not) is $20,000. Multiply that by 11 million and you get $220 billion per year.
Once Obamacare is fully implemented in 11 months, they will have 11 million new people on the dole. Obamacare is already underfunded by $1 trillion, even by the Democrat’s accounting.
The Republicans are already on board with immigration reform. All their experts say they need the Hispanic vote if they are to have any chance at all of keeping the House of Representatives, much less winning the White House.
The cost of immigration reform has never been an issue with Democrats. Now that there is zero opposition from the Republicans, immigration reform is a given.
So, Congress approves a $200 billion program and six weeks from now they will be haggling 24/7 over $100 billion in sequestration cuts – which have by then become $300 billion in cuts.
What a mess.
