You’ve heard the cliché a thousand times, the president using the “bully pulpit” to influence public opinion. Originally this referred to the “bully for you,” pat-on-the-back aspect of presidential persuasion tactics.
Obama gives it a whole new meaning, literally bullying the American people into submission with rude condescension and vitriolic diatribe. Browbeating us.

Most people hardly notice this. If you live in New York City that’s how everybody behaves. It’s a natural defense mechanism in the concrete jungle. You trust in-your-face haters far more than nice strangers. You think the latter are pulling one over on you.
For those human beings who reside in more civilized venues, we don’t much like being told how to think. Not by the president and especially not by this president.
Who is he to tell us how we should spend our money; when he spends almost twice what he takes in, and his entire agenda is stacked with ever more mega expensive ambitions.
If you went back to the future and heard a 1980s president saying the things Obama does, and the way he says them, the whole world would be aghast.
We have a born again Hitler on our hands. A raving lunatic psycho who plunges his butcher knife into our backs every chance he gets.
The difference between then and now is that the national media is infinitely more rude, crude and in-your-face. Every news anchor regularly interjects opinion into their presentations. Many have their five minutes of hate in every broadcast segment, cutesy little monologues.
We’ve seen this so often in the news that we accept it. We’re tone deaf to it. It’s like having a rebellious, hateful teenager at the dinner meal every evening. You get used to it.
Teenagers grow out of it. The media doesn’t. This has been going on for 20 years and more. It’s been escalating in intensity with every passing year. The liberal drive-by media have almost total control over the airwaves now.
Total control over you.
Your thoughts.
Big Brother.
