This was the legal obligation of all Germans to obtain an official identification card. From 1939, Jews were identified on their ID cards and in their personnel files at the local police station. Germany was at war. They had to identify all German citizens.
America is at war now, too. We’ve been at war with terrorism for over ten years now. Yet, Team Obama files suits against every voter ID law any state passes on the grounds that they deny minorities the right to vote.
There are laws passed by Congress (and strictly enforced by every president, Democrat or Republican, for decades) that prohibit the IRS and the Social Security Administration – both of whom know damn well who all the illegal immigrants are – from sharing their records with other federal or state agencies.
It’s unlawful, by local ordinance, in 250 major cities and 4 states, for anybody to ask for proof of citizenship for any reason – not even to register to vote or to serve on juries or to enlist in the armed forces.
